JUST IN: Pursuit Thursday Morning, Ends With Arrest, Northeast of Redmond

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — A pursuit by Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies northeast of Redmond Thursday morning ended with the arrest of a 27-year-old fugitive from Prineville.

Deputies arrested Kent Vannorsdall on several charges, including an outstanding felony arrest warrant. There were no injuries, Sgt. William Bailey said.

Unconfirmed police scanner reports said the pursuit began around 7:30 a.m. and reached speeds of about 60 mph, including several roads, among them Upas Avenue, 37th Street and gravel roads. Vannoorsdall reportedly was detained about a mile into Crook County.
