Janelle joined Horizon Broadcasting Group in 2021 and quickly made an impact as an air personality.

A native of Portland, she arrived in Central Oregon shortly after her graduation cap hit the ground in 1996.  She majored in music and took Central Oregon by storm when Janelle started teaching high school band and choir full-time at the age of 19.

Janelle married her wonderful and supportive husband in 2000 and raised 2 beautiful children.  While they were little, she traveled the Pacific Northwest as a children’s music and comedy entertainer. She has long enjoyed sharing her love of music with everyone through teaching and performing. She has spent her lifetime learning instruments, composing music, and performing regularly. She has written and produced several music branding commercials over the past 20 years and has won multiple songwriting awards. 

Janelle loves connecting with the community in ways of performance both on radio and on stage as well as volunteering regularly!
