The man named “Outstanding Director of the Year” by the Madras-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is now out of a job.
The Madras Aquatic Center Recreation District Board approved a “no-cause termination” agreement with director Joe McHaney.
Allegations against McHaney were never made public, but his attorney says they were unproven, wild accusations about theft.
