Heart of Oregon Corps is participating in a Global Youth Service Day service project Thursday, April 20th. All Heart of Oregon staff and youth will come together to conduct a service project with the City of Redmond. Tobias Colvin, Redmond City Councilor, will speak.
WHAT: Redmond, OR – Heart of Oregon Corps (HOC), a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through employment, job training, education, and service to Central Oregon communities.
WHO: All Heart of Oregon Corps staff and youth will be participating in this service project with the City of Redmond. Tobias Colvin, Redmond City Councilor, will be in attendance to speak to the youth.
WHEN: The event will take place on Thursday, April 20th, 2023. From 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM. The day will start out with group activities at the American Legion Park in Redmond from roughly 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM. City Councilor Colvin will be speaking to HOC youth during the morning session. After lunch, Heart of Oregon will drive to Dry Canyon in Redmond to conduct our service project from roughly 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM.

HY: Global Youth Service Day is a global initiative aimed at inspiring and mobilizing youth to take positive action in their communities. This year, Heart of Oregon is joining this effort by organizing a day of service for local youth.
