PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) — COVID-19 has claimed another life in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 53, the Oregon Health Authority reported Monday.
OHA also reported 57 new cases of COVID-19 as of 8 a.m. Monday, bringing the state total to 1,584. The new COVID-19 cases were in the following counties: Clackamas (7), Columbia (2), Douglas (2), Jackson (1), Josephine (1), Lane (4), Marion (4), Multnomah (24), and Washington (12).
Along with 1,584 positive tests in the state, nearly 30,000 negative test results (29,537) have been recorded.
Deschutes County held Monday at 54 positive cases and reported that 26 of them have recovered, along with 1,098 negative test results. Crook County has had one confirmed case and 104 negative results, while Jefferson County has had 103 negative results and no confirmed positive cases among current county residents.
