The two jail inmates who stole a Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office quad were drunk on hand sanitizer according to deputies.
Shawn McCallister and Christopher Turre used the ATV to ram through the gate of the Sheriff’s animal rescue ranch east of Bend.
The men now face several new charges.
