A Bend man killed his neighbor in self-defense after the neighbor shot his roommate according to the Deschutes County District Attorney.
D-A John Hummel says Tyler Herrick went to his neighbor’s house, shot and killed Kyle Adams with an AR-15 and hunted Adam’s roommate Brennan Pebbles before Pebbles got a gun and shot Herrick to death.
Hummel says it’s unclear why Herrick went next-door to shoot Adams, but it may have been a, quote: “monumental mental health collapse.”
